PICTURE ERROR, ANYONE?

PICTURE ERROR, ANYONE?, originally uploaded by yummybapao.

I experience this picture error with my D5000. I’m not sure what the error is called, but did anyone experience the same thing?

My actual picture is the topmost portion (a cup in monochrome), when i review the picture later on in my camera, the middle portion appeared! it was taken months ago, and have been deleted..
I cant explain the lowermost grey part of the image, what that is and why it was there…

Is the problem on my camera, or in my memory card??

I use Nikon D5000, and Kingston 4GB SDHC memory card..

i have experienced this twice with same memory card brand and type..
Can anyone help how to resolve this issue?

  1. I had the same experience with my D40 awhile ago, also with Kingston 4GB (Class 4) SD card. So, the common thing that we have here is they are both Nikon camera and Kingston SD card.

Either way, it only happened once, so, I don’t really bothered and eager to find the culprit.

      • “lucky it didnt damage the ones that i dislike”… don’t you mean the ones that you like? :D

Well, did you reformat the SD card?

If it happens lots of time, I guess you can find the ‘symptoms’ and eventually find the culprit :-)

        Good luck…
